Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this site. Here is what we do and where it falls short.
1. The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have tested the site ourselves, and it hasn’t been audited by an outside specialist.
2. What we do
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “skip to main content” link.
- Pages use real headings, labels and landmarks for screen readers.
- Images have text descriptions. Purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- The site follows your device’s reduced-motion setting, and moving content has a pause button.
- Pages work when zoomed and at phone width.
3. How we test it
We run an automated accessibility check (axe-core) against WCAG 2.2 AA rules on every page at desktop and phone width before each major change. Automated tools find only some problems, so we also test keyboard use on the main menus and forms.
4. Known limits
- The world map is a drawing. A screen reader gets a short description of it, and the same information is in text in the channel directory below the map.
- Marketplace logos belong to other companies, so we can’t change their colors, and some have fine detail.
- Some articles link to government and marketplace pages that we don’t control.
5. Tell us about a barrier
If something on the site is hard to use, or you need information in another format, please tell us through the contact form or by post to Billionesia LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Tell us which page and what you were trying to do. We aim to reply within five business days.
